Who We Are
Back2Back Cincinnati was established in 2018 with the intention of bringing the holistic, trauma-informed best practices of Back2Back Ministries into a US city context for the first time.
Historically, Cincinnati holds a child poverty rate double the national average. Child poverty rates are directly correlated to literacy disparity, heightened incarceration, and developmental trauma.
Why Our Work Matters
Hope doesn’t stand still, even when stories are hard. Back2Back Cincinnati staff implement a holistic approach to comprehensive care as we give attention to the spiritual, physical, educational, emotional, and social needs of each child. Addressing the “whole” of a person is key.
Who We Work With
Children, youth, and families in the 52 neighborhoods of Cincinnati who are walking through hard moments. To date, we have been honored to walk alongside over 150 families as they move toward sustainability.
Our hope is that every child finds their voice, embraces hope, and pursues a life to the fullest in the context of a safe and healthy community.
