Care For Today,
Hope For Tomorrow

The Back2Back Cincinnati team resources children, youth, and families toward sustainability through comprehensive care. Through trauma informed best practices, our hope is that everyone experiences dependency on Jesus, interdependence in community, and economic independence and sustainability.

Every Story Matters

The hard parts of our story are just that – parts. They are not the whole story. They should not hinder us from pursuing hope and trauma should never disqualify us from a life well-lived. Our goal at Back2Back Cincinnati is to provide space for community members to heal and grow on the path to becoming their best selves.

We believe that while we can’t control our past circumstances, we can work together to overcome the generational or systemic obstacles in our way to create the future we want for ourselves.

Back2Back Cincinnati empowers families.

The 52 neighborhoods of Cincinnati reflect a diverse, mulit-ethnic community of people. Celebrating our differences while moving toward equity and unity requires BOTH individualized care AND community led initiatives. Back2Back Cincinnati empowers families toward sustainability.

Care Coordinators work individually with children, teenagers, and/or caregivers in home, school, and/or community settings. Care Coordinators walk beside kids and families to create holistic plans, advocate for needs, and overcome barriers in achieving goals.

Back2Back Cincinnati utilizes play in individual and group settings to practice social emotional skills such as listening, calming down, empathy, confidence, and self advocacy. Through therapeutic strategies, staff explore meaning behind behavior, process situations, and grow towards healing together. Additionally, Back2Back Cincinnati offers ways for caregivers to grow in self worth, develop parenting skills, and build the attachment between child and parent.

Our coaching strategy is designed to empower youth to engage in community with increased situational awareness, self worth, and deepened interdependence within that community.

Education Specialists walk with students to identify individualized strengths and areas for growth. After assessing and developing educational goals with students, Education Specialists can provide academic support to accelerate learning and confidence, advocate for access to educational resources, and collaborate within school environments.

We advocate in neighborhoods to help youth and families navigate the justice system for a holistic comprehensive alternative versus punitive consequences.

Through collaboration with like minded organizations such as The Boys and Girls Club,The Anthony Munoz Foundation, Cincinnati Youth Collaborative, local schools, and community based initiatives we strive to create healthy, safe connections within ALL 52 neighborhoods of Cincinnati.
